Ranck, David J., 76, McVeytown went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born August 15, 1949, Mount Union, son of the late Marlin E. and Anna B. (Cornelius) Ranck. David was united in marriage to Dolly (Kyle) Ranck, who he leaves behind. David is also survived by daughter Dawn (William) Stake; Son Jamie (Jodi) Ranck; grandchildren, Storm, Denny, Renee, Heather, Nicole, Corey, Natalie; sisters, Connie Hughes, Marlene Ryan; aunt and uncle Keith (Donna) Ranck with whom he was very close; and 17 great-grandchildren. David was a proud graduate of Mount Union High School class of 1967. During his lifetime he was self-employed as an artist and owned a sign business where he created graphic designs on tractor and trailers either hand painting or airbrush painting. David was a member of the MU Lodge 688 Mason – Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, and a member of Wayne United Methodist Church. Friends and Family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life, Saturday, November 1, 2025, 11:00, at the Wayne United Methodist Church, 46 Millers Quarry Road, McVeytown PA, 17051, Pastor Kim Cartwright officiating with a masonic service to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wayne United Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley Street, Mount Union, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care TM.” Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com.
