Booher, Ellen N., 84, Mount Union, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born February 25, 1941, Mount Union, daughter of the late Cornelius and Josephine (Todaro) Neason. She is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth C. Booher; infant son, Jason Booher; and siblings, Mary, Grace, and John. Ellen is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Karen), and Bradley (Angelina); grandchildren, Jason (Terin), Jessica (TJ), Jenessa, Kooper; great-grandchildren, Charolette, Ari, Caraline, Jetson; sisters, Anna, Joan, Rose, Fay; along with many nieces and nephews. Ellen was a proud member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy lodge #1257, where she served as the manger for several years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court #1992 and was a devout parishioner of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. She also enjoyed casinos, socializing with friends and family, and loved going out to eat at all the local restaurants. Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00, St. Catherine’s Church, Mount Union. Burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Shirleysburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
