David Rattay

Age 74, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on August 3rd, 2024. Growing up in the South Side provided fond memories and lifelong friends for Dave, as well as his mailman days in Mt. Oliver, earning him the nickname the "Mayor of MO" due to his outgoing personality. Dave served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran. He loved playing cards, collecting coins, and genealogy. But his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Lou (Fogle) Rattay and many other loved ones, Dave is survived by his son, David (Kristine) Rattay, daughter, Christina (TJ) Chapman, granddaughters Sarah and Nicole Rattay, grandsons David A. Rattay and Colten Ramsey, and step-grandsons Michael Ramsey, Owen and Reed Chapman. He is also survived by his sister Kathy (John) McNally, brother, Robert (Linda) Rattay, brother-in-law, Larry (Linda) Fogle, aunts, uncles, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Dave was truly loved by all who knew him!
