David Ring, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Ogden, Kansas. He was born on May 15, 1947, in Lima, Ohio, a place he cherished throughout his life.
David was known for his unwavering spirit and kind heart, qualities that drew people to him. He dedicated his life to his family and friends, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured. As a devoted husband, he shared a deep bond with his spouse, Debra Bidwell-Ring. Together, they embodied the meaning of partnership and love.
He was a proud father who cherished his children, Bryan (Andrea) Ring and Dusty Ring. David took great pride in his role as a stepfather to Malia (Michael Trabue) Bidwell and Michael Bidwell, bringing wisdom and laughter into their lives. The joy he felt as a grandfather to Kaitlyn, Alexandria, and Ashleigh was immeasurable; he cherished each moment spent with them, nurturing their interests and encouraging them to pursue their dreams.
David's legacy is one of love and kindness, marked by the simple yet profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kay Whittlesey.
As we remember David, we celebrate a life that was rich in love and connection, leaving behind a family that will carry his memory forward with fondness and gratitude. He will be missed deeply by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
