David L. Rosenthal

David Rosenthal, 69, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home in Plymouth.

David was born December 15, 1955 in Sheboygan, son of Arthur and Rosemary (Steinhardt) Rosenthal. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1974. He worked at various locations in Sheboygan County, most recently at KI Office Systems where he retired early from due to health issues. He was united in marriage in 1979 to Christine Steuerwald, and the couple had a son, Adam.

An avid music lover, David was a huge Beatles and John Lennon fan. He had a very special bond with his mother, and they enjoyed going on drives to look for wildlife, and watching Brewers baseball and golf on TV.

David is survived by his son Adam Rosenthal, sisters Barbara Adams of Minden, LA, Donna (Gerry) Stenz of Sheboygan Falls, and Cathy (Glenn) Valenstein of Howard Grove; nieces and nephews Carla Schendel (Tony Weisfeld), Bryan Stenz, Michael Stenz (Katrina), Laura (Mike Copas) Valenstein and Paul Valenstein; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel, brother-in-law Carey Adams Sr and former wife Christine Limperes.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave. in Kohler. A brief visitation will be held from 10:30am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital are appreciated.
