David Edgar Runyon, 77, of Alexandria and formerly of Bellevue, passed away on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. Dave was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Proctor & Gamble as a Human Resource Specialist. He loved to sing and sang for many friends weddings with his wonderful voice. He was known for his loving nature, kind heart, and carefree spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Mildred (nee. St. Claire) Runyon & brother, Bruce Runyon. David is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Jo (nee. Day) Runyon; sons, Gabriel & Andrew Runyon; sisters, Carol (the late John) Moore & Donna Runyon; grandchildren, Bryce, Lydia & Keagan Runyon and a great grandchild, Scarlett Runyon, as well as many close friends. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., with the Funeral Service to follow at 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 25th at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue. Interment will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 26th. Memorials are suggested to the Hosea House/ ECHO, P.O. Box 72046, Newport, KY 41072 or the Congregation of Divine Providence, 5300 St. Anne Dr., Melbourne, KY 41059. Online condolences can be given at dmefuneral.com.
