For a brief moment when I´m where Dave would have been, I can still see his face and hear his voice. "Howdy howdy"as he walked through my front door. How many times I´ve thought "I´ll asked Dave". How much he´s missed and how often he´s spoken about at the Club, especially at our Sunday Supper Club. It doesn´t seem possible that he´s gone.

The first time I met Dave he had come to our yacht club for a membership interview. He was in a suit and tie. I was told someone was there to see me and I poked my head out of the attic opening to tell him I would be with him as soon as I could get the 10ft kitchen counter top down to the kitchen. He took off his coat and tie, rolled up his sleeves and climbed up into the attic. In no time the counter was down and in the kitchen. He put his jacket and tie back on and asked about his interview. I told him I was conducting it and welcomed him into the yacht club then and there. I can´t believe that was 33 years ago. I have fond memories of all the times my brother and I worked with him, the fun times we all shared and how we could count on each other. He became a part of my family and we will miss him terribly.
