David G. Scyoc, age 70, passed away at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

David was born February 4,1955 at his family farm in Pine Grove, West Virginia. He is the son of the late Clarence W. and Ida Mae (Yoho) Scyoc.

David was a loving husband, father and grandfather, strong and caring for most of his life, providing for his family. He enjoyed raising cattle, hunting and fishing, and going to auctions even as his health failed him.

David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie (Gamble) Scyoc;, his daughters, Crystal Scyoc, Melissa Scyoc; also his grandchildren, Devon Scyoc, Joshua Scyoc and Colton Scyoc. Along with his siblings, Eddie Scyoc, Earl (Linda) Scyoc, Olive Carl, Jim Scyoc, Shirley (Anthony 'AD') Morris, Sharon Scyoc, Cheryl (Chris) Hillberry, as well as many nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant brothers, Bobby Dale Scyoc, Benton Lewis Scyoc as well as a stillborn, also sister, Inez "Sue" Chrihfield and eldest brother, William Scyoc; sister-in-laws, Debbie Scyoc, Linda Scyoc, and brother-in-laws, Paul Carl and Jack Chrihfield.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
