Marcene Scyoc Obituary
Back in God's hands and the arms of her love
Marcene (Riddle) Scyoc, age 90, grew her wings on December 4th, 2022.
Born in Akron, she was a Tallmadge resident for 76 years. Marcene graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1950. Working along side her husband she was his bookkeeper for A-1 Plumbing and Heating for 27 years as well as a sales rep for Avon for over 25 years. She was a member and Sunday school teacher of McLeister Wesleyan Methodist Church and loved reading her books, knitting and cross stitch as well as vacationing and being with family.
She was preceded in death by loving husband Davey L Scyoc, son Mark B Scyoc, grandsons Joshua Lee and Michael Shawn Scyoc, son in law Bryce K Greene, brothers Earl, Jim and Gene Riddle, and parents Ernest and Bessie Riddle.
Loving daughter Karen Greene will forever cherish her memory as well as sons Paul Scyoc, John (Nancy) Scyoc, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, brother Glenn (Judy) Riddle, and sisters Wanda Riddle and Carolyn (Bob) Wallace.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in the care of Hopkins Lawver Funeral home.
Friends and family will be received Friday, December 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, December 10th at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
