David J Seifert

David John Seifert of Beloit, WI, passed away with his wife by his side at home, January 5, 2026 at the age of 84.
David was born July 4, 1941 in Beloit, WI, the son of Carl and Evelyn (Pottratz) Seifert. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1959, and then joined the United States Marines. He married Sandy (Dirrgle) June 19, 1965, they were married 60 years.
David worked for Wright & Wagner Dairy as a Milkman, and later as a truck driver in Beloit for Kerry Ingredients and was a Union Stewart for many years, he retired after 30 years at the age of 52. He was a bowler in his younger years, enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid golfer. David had a few "hole in ones" at Krueger golf course. He was an amazing woodworker after retirement framing and matting many beautiful picture frames for people in the community.
Survivors include his wife; children, Lisa (Erik) Wertz, Jay (Char Guasto) Seifert; grandchildren, Mason (Brianna) Cochrane, Amber, Conner and Ashley Seifert; great grandchildren, Rowynn and Jaxon Cochrane; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Gerald and Charles "Chuck" Seifert; sister-in-law, Judith Seifert; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Annabelle Abel.
A visitation of remembrance will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI.
