David Christopher Shelfer

Saginaw ~ David Christopher Shelfer, 61, went home to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024 at The Hills Church in North Richland Hills with burial at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Mike Washburn will officiate. Pallbearers will include Dale Saul, Rick Hackworth, Russ Clyde, Mike Musgrove, Mark Bowen, and Ricky McBride.
David was born March 24, 1962 to Teddie and Linda (Anderson) Shelfer in El Paso. After graduating and completing some college he worked for Innovative Industrial Solutions as a Senior Sales Representative. David married Karen Brammer on August 5, 1989 in Richland Hills and were together for 34 years. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Teddie Shelfer.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen Shelfer of Saginaw; his children, Abigail Caitlin Shelfer, Dusty Lorin Shelfer of Saginaw, and Katie Marie Shelfer; his mother, Linda Shelfer; his sisters, Julie Delgado and Lori Shelfer; numerous extended Family, and a host of friends.
