David Eugene Snider, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Liberty Commons after a couple of years of failing health. He was born in Princeton, WV on April 25, 1942 to the late Frederick Willard and Thelma Dana Neely Snider and was the husband of 30 years to Audrey Moots Snider of the home.
David was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church. He had a gift of making people laugh, often telling jokes even to those he’d just met. He was outgoing and had a strong work ethic as he earned top salesman for many years while employed with 3M. David enjoyed spending time with his family. David loved the Lord and liked telling people about Jesus.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; daughter, Deborah Minor, Patricia Bouzigard; grandchildren, Amanda Stewart (Caleb), Nicole McCutcheon (Kevin), Corbin Minor (Caroline), Bryce Minor, Sierra Minor; great grandchildren, Olivia, Hazel and Maddox Stewart and McKenzie and Camden McCutcheon and sisters, Lois A. Snider and Dorothy Wilkerson (Scott). He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Melinda Hazelwood; first wife, Sharron; brothers, Frederick Snider, Jr. and Ronald Snider.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Grove Park Baptist Church by Rev. Marc Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church, 108 Trail One, Burlington, NC 27215 or to AuthoraCare Collective (Hospice) of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
