David Somers Obituary Williamsport, MD David Aaron Somers, 21, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at his home.
He was born on October 7, 2003, in Hagerstown, MD, to Christopher Richard Somers and Kimberly Catherine (Schmincke) Florian.
David was a 2022 graduate of Williamsport High School. He received an award of excellence for outstanding performance in construction design and management.
He was employed by Food Lion Distribution in Greencastle, PA.
He was of the Methodist faith.
David enjoyed playing the guitar. He also enjoyed the outdoors, working on lawn equipment and automobiles, woodworking, kayaking, fishing, hiking on the C&O Canal, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his pets.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Brianna M. Florian and her daughter Amelia; brother Michael D. Florian, Jr. and his wife Josie and their children Carter and Isabelle; maternal grandfather Henry C. Schmincke, III; paternal grandmother Judy Somers; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Darrelene J. Schmincke and his paternal grandfather Gary Somers, Sr.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 4:00 6:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation on Friday at 6:00 pm with Rev. Richard Clingerman officiating.
