David Merritt Soule, age 68, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, June 20, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1956, in Crescent City, California, to the late Howard and Mary Soule.
David was a passionate collector, a lifelong learner, and an avid traveler. He had a deep love for music and especially enjoyed attending live concerts, often sharing those experiences with family and friends. He found great joy in spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, as they were the light of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Soule; his daughters, Melissa Stockbridge (husband Dan), Leslie Soule, and Jennifer Graham (husband Jonathan); step-daughter Rebecca Cale (husband Tony); step-son Byron Lotspeich (wife Kaci); and six grandchildren: Kayla Stockbridge, Ryan Stockbridge, Sebastian Graham, Stevie Graham, Sterling Graham, and Kenzie Walsh. David will also be deeply missed by many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, at East Lawn Sacramento, 4300 Folsom Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95819.
