David Steele, a beloved husband, father & friend, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 65. His life was a testament to unwavering kindness, enduring love, and boundless wisdom. Throughout his journey, David touched the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication to his family was unmatched, and his legacy of love will continue to thrive through his children and grandchildren. A devoted family man, he was a source of strength and guidance to his children and a loving husband to his wife, Teresa Steele.
David found solace and joy in traveling, golfing, routing for his Wildcats! Go CATS! He shared these passions with everyone around him, leaving lasting memories of laughter and togetherness. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever live on in our hearts and in the stories we share. As we remember David, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the love he generously gave to us all.
Mr. Steele is survived by his loving wife Teresa Steele; Daughter Ashely Steele; Sons Jason Steele & Clyde Mason; Daughter-in-law Jessica Steele; as well as his Grandchildren Madison Cook, Shade Steele & Colten Mason. David will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
A graveside service for Mr. Steele will be 11:30AM Saturday, October 7 at The Lexington Cemetery, 833 West Main Street, Lexington KY. Visitation will be 10:00AM till 11:00AM on Saturday at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor. We invite all who knew and loved David to join us in celebrating his life and the beautiful memories we shared.

Dear Teresa, God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. My first memory of David was him riding around Idle Hour in his dad's white station wagon when he was just 14 years old. Everyone wanted to hang out with David. Always fun and laughter.
