David Francis Talone Jr.

David Francis Talone, Jr., age 87 of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at his home, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Morrisville, Dave was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1954 and Pennington School, Class of 1955. A proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Talone served with the Strategic Air Command, 307th Organizational Maintenance Squadron. Dave worked alongside his father, Dave, Sr. at Talone's Gulf Station in Morrisville. Once his father retired Dave continued in the business for over 40 years, as the owner of Talone's Mobil in Morrisville and Fairless Hills. Upon his retirement from the service station, he became a beloved bus driver for the Pennsbury School District for 17 years. He was a member of Gothic Fraternal Masonic Lodge # 270 F. & A.M. in Hamilton, NJ and a member of Crescent Temple where he was a 32nd degree Mason. Dave was also a lifetime member of the Morrisville Fire Department.
Dave truly loved spending time with his family and enjoyed watching football and NASCAR racing.
Son of the late David Francis, Sr. and Mabel (Wright) Talone, husband of the late Margaret Rose (Arch) Talone, his wife of almost 50 years, and brother of the late Lorraine Uber, he is survived by his loving daughter Deborah L. Talone, his beloved son David F. Talone, III, and several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his loving niece and nephew Linda and Fred Kerner. The family also wishes to express special thanks to his caregiver, Terri.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services to be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. The Rev. Joe Martin, Pastor of the Fallsington United Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call on Oct. 11th from 9:30: AM to 11:00 AM, at the funeral chapel.
His interment with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in David's name, may be made to the Guardians of Washington Crossing National Cemetery, P.O. Box 233, Newtown, PA 18940 or to the Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 Lacrosse St., Fallsington, PA 19054.
