David E. Thomas, a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away on September 7, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.
He was 75. He was born on January 30, 1950 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Gene (Patti) Thomas and Patricia Anthony Woods. David proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korea and Vietnam, then followed with employment as an inspector at International Motors “Navistar”, where he served for 30 years until his retirement. Then resided in Tucson, AZ, for the next 26 years and love his dog Jake.
Over his time he like to ride motorcycles, spend time with friends and family, hanging out at the local bars with buddies where he didn’t know a stranger and taking trips to Las Vegas. David is survived by his son, Jeremy (Kelly) Thomas, two grandchildren, Cambria (Dakota) Palmer and Alyssa Allen, and two great-granddaughters, Ezra-May Bos and Rosalie Bos. He also leaves behind his two brothers, John (Tina) Thomas and Richard Thomas.
There will be a private ceremony at Fletcher Chapel Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio.
