David Brian Truman, 49 of Tecumseh, Michigan, passed away August 10, 2024 at the Toledo Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born September 5, 1974 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the son of David Alan and Donna Jo (Deuesenberry) Truman. David met his wife and soul mate while working for Engessers Exotic Felines. David and Melissa Lynn (Clough) were married on May 7, 1994.
As a young adult he was a C.N.A and loved working with the elderly. David was a hard worker with excellent work ethics. He wanted to provide for his family and was a giver and an unselfish man. He was currently employed at Faurecia of Saline and loved and was grateful for this job.
David was a member of Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene. David loved talking to anyone he met. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family to places like Frankenmuth MI; and West Virginia to see family. He loved animals, especially his dog Charlie.
David was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. David is survived by his wife Melissa; his children, son Christopher Pefley of Fairfield Township, MI; daughter Amanda Truman of Tecumseh; sons David Brian Truman and Zachary Truman both of Tecumseh; his mother Donna (Richard) McDougal of Rachel, West Virginia and step mother Sharon Truman of Booth West Virginia; brothers Sam McDougal of Waldors, Virginia; Joe McDougal of Oakland Park, Florida; Alex McDougal of Morgantown, West Virginia; Kenneth McDougal of Rachel, West Virginia; sisters Brenda Truman of UBS, Nevada; Terri Hittle of Rossville Georgia; brother in-law Joshua (Nichelle) Clough of Blissfield, MI; his much adored baby nephews Credence and Sullivan Clough of Blissfield MI; his dogs Charlie and Zoe.
A private graveside service was held at Ridgeway Cemetery Tecumseh, Michigan.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
