David Vaught Obituary

Born on August 19, 1951, in Somerset, Kentucky, David made Colorado Springs his home in 1970, where he built a life centered around family, service, and community. A dedicated member of the United States Air Force, he honorably served for 19 years before retiring with the rank of Technical Sergeant. His service was a cornerstone of his life, reflecting his unwavering commitment to his country and his values.
David was the proud father of two children, his son DJ and daughter Mary Melinda, and the loving grandfather to seven grandchildren who were the light of his life. He delighted in their accomplishments and found joy in their laughter and presence.
He is survived by his wife, Racheal Vaught, children and grandchildren and his brother Bill Vaught, who will all carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.
