Alberta Woodruff Obituary
Alberta “Birdie” Woodruff, age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Alberta was born March 6th 1936 in Oakhill, Ohio. She was the daughter of Ralph and Ethel Woodruff.
Growing up Alberta was always a devoted mother, with her care and concern for the well-being of her children. Always putting their needs over her own. As adults we knew her door was always open.
Alberta enjoyed her time spent at Mike’s Bar with good friends, cooking for her family, spoiling her dog Giz and loved watching her Ohio State Buckeyes.
She will be remembered by her contagious laugh and her easy going spirit.
Alberta is preceded in death by both parents, brothers, Raymond and Robert Woodruff and daughter, Sue Woodruff.
She is survived by her brother, Billy and sister, Mamie. Son’s, Gene, Bradley, Michael and David Woodruff and daughter, Gwendolyn Pauley. Additionally, she is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
