David Thomas Wagner, of Albany, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the age of 69. He was born on May 24, 1951, in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was a retired commercial Electrician. David was a proud Navy Veteran, having served in Vietnam. David is survived by his wife, Catherine Matthews Wagner; sons, Jason Wagner and Faron Cook; grandchildren, Jordan Bryan Cook and Logan David Edward Cook; brother, Robert Wagner (Bobby Jo); and also survived by his five cats. He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Thomas Wagner, brothers, Ron and Gary Wagner, and parents, Robert and Genevieve Wagner. Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, on Saturday at 1:00 pm, with Father Cayet Mangiaracina officiating. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family. Thank you for your cooperation. Dear Cathy, So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. My condolences go out to you and your family. As you know Dave and I go back a long way and have had many memories made together. We especially enjoyed our camping trips together although some of them were somewhat disasters, but something to laugh about later. I will miss him. Jim
