David Lee Warfield, 83, of Camden, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Born on May 11, 1942, in Hillsdale to Donald and Mildred (Howald) Warfield. David was a lifelong member of his hometown community and a 1960 graduate of Camden-Frontier High School.
After graduation, David proudly served his country in the United States ARMY before beginning a long dedicated career in tool and die. Known for his steady hand, strong work ethic, and genuine kindness, David approached his work and life with humility and care.
Beyond his career, David found his greatest joy in his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved most. An avid reader and a man of quiet strength, David will be remembered for his patience, gentle humor, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was a member of the Hillsdale Baptist Church and the Cambria Baptist Church where his was really involved in the Awana program.
David is survived by his loving wife, Roxanna (Signor); his children, Chris (Ashley) Warfield and their daughter, Ellie, Rob (Beth) Warfield and his daughter, Morgan (Josh) Calver and grandson, Colson, Lori (Brent) Dahlstrom and their sons, Blake, Mitchell and Nick, and Dena (Bill Testa) Warfield and their children Caleb, Shianne and Jenni Warfield. David is also survived by two brothers; Theodore (Linda) Warfield, William (Sharon) Warfield and one brother-in-law, Jerry Richards.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kay Richards.
David will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched.
Funeral services for David Lee Warfield will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 3 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Pastor Dan Pann officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County or Current Church.
