John 14:1-3

Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

David Deonald Wascom was born on June 20, 1956 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2025 due to pancreatic cancer. He married Mae Angele Tate, the love of his life, on January 24, 1975. They had two sons, Nathan Deonald Wascom and Daniel Lee Wascom. He worked as a heavy-duty mechanic until his retirement in 2000. He dealt with crippling arthritis through enormous pain just to make sure whatever he was working on was completed and done right.

He is preceded in death by mother, Dorothy May; father Elbert "Duke" Wascom and stepmother Renee Wasom; brother EJ Wascom; sister-in-law Joann Sutton, son Nathan Wascom, father and mother in-law Raymond and Nina Lea Tate and numerours other family and friends.
