Minnie Lee Wascom, age 85, passed away January 26, 2026, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Mrs. Minnie was a long-time member of First Church of Bogalusa, where she taught Sunday school and devoted her life to serving and worshipping Jesus. She put Jesus first in her life, and the love for her family followed.

Mrs. Minnie is survived by four sons: Terry (Angela) Wascom, John Wascom, Chris (Kellie) Wascom, and Tommy (Tammy) Wascom; five grandchildren: Lori Wascom (Ashton) Marks, Jonathan Wascom, Kayla (Corey) Ladnier, Bailee Wascom, and Emma Wascom; six great-grandchildren: Victoria Marks, Gavin Marks, CJ Ladnier, Liam Ladnier, Klara Vanell Ladnier, and Sawyer Rick; one sister-in-law: Sylvia Lee; a very special friend: Juliette Magee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Mr. Jimmy "Bugs" Wascom; loving parents: John and Myrtis Lee; one brother: Charles Ray Lee; and a sister: Lois Raftery.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Thursday, January 29, 2026, visitation will start at First Church of Bogalusa at 9AM until the time of service at 11AM. Bro. Houston will officiate funeral and graveside services.
