David Francis Wegiel

David F. Wegiel, age 67 of Stow, MA passed away at his home on June 13, 2025. He was born on January 20, 1958 to Mary and Henry Wegiel in Concord, NH. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his loving siblings Kathrine and husband Luis Vidaurri of San Diego, Dianne and husband Richard Heislein of Bolton, Henry A. Wegiel and wife Sarah of Leominster, and Alicia and husband Glen Bunnell of Stow. He was a cherished uncle to Julie, Peter, Stefanie, Adam, Luis, Thomas, Andrew and Caroline, and great uncle to little Mikey.
David was a "76" graduate of Nashoba Regional High School and then earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Economics from Boston College. Throughout his career, David held operations executive positions in the technology and logistics industries within the Boston area. Upon retirement David took over the family small business, Bay State Engraving Co. in Stow.
David was an avid golfer and a member of the Marlborough Country Club for years. He lived and breathed all the Boston sports and happily hosted parties for many marquee matchups. Dave was the ultimate handyman and could fix or build anything. He loved to travel abroad but also treasured time at the lake with family.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours taking place on Saturday, June 21st from 8:30am – 10:30am at Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave. (Rte.111), Acton, MA. The funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Isidore's Church, 429 Great Road (Rte.117) Stow, MA. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 136 Gleasondale Rd., Stow, MA.
