David S. Wikoff, age 55, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
David was born on November 26, 1970, in Norwich, New York, the son of David and Judith (Larson) Wikoff. He was a hardworking man who spent many years employed by Acco as a pressmen and Corning as a plastic molder. David was a proud member of the Steel Workers Union and also served his community as a member of the Davenport Fire Department.
David was known for his strong work ethic, stubborn determination, and dedication to the people and things he cared about. In his free time, he enjoyed football, especially cheering for the Chicago Bears. He loved spending time with his dogs especially Shazbot and sitting in front of a campfire.
He is survived by his companion, Jennifer Stanton; his father, David (Jean) Wikoff; his children, Jordan (Zachary) Port, Tarah (Mitchell) Fisher, Alexis Wikoff, and Zachary Wikoff; his brother, Duane (Melissa) Wikoff; and his grandchildren, Ryder, Camdyn, Charlotte, Iyla, Scotty and Grayson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
David was predeceased by his mother, Judith Wikoff.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in David's name can be made to any animal shelter of choice.
