David H. Williams

David H. Williams, age 82, passed away on January 21, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee. David was born on September 12, 1943, in Nettleton, Mississippi, where he was raised and developed the strong work ethic and values that guided him throughout his life. He was a proud graduate of Mississippi State University, and he served his country as a member of the Mississippi National Guard. After earning his Certified Public Account (CPA) license, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he built a long and successful career. David was an accomplished accountant and served as Chief Financial Officer of TVESCO, Inc., in Memphis. Outside of his professional life, David had a deep passion for restoring classic cars, especially Corvettes-a hobby that reflected his patience, precision, and love for craftsmanship. After retiring, David moved to Nashville to be closer to his son, Brandon, and his family. David shared 59 loving years of marriage with his wife, Betty. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, particularly cherishing moments with Brandon, their daughter-in-law, Lisa, and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Charles.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Williams; his son, Brandon Williams; daughter-in-law, Lisa Williams; and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Charles Williams, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton S. and Dollie P. Williams; his brother, Herman Williams; and his grandson, David Heiden Williams.

Visitation will be held at Holland Funeral Home in Tupelo, Mississippi, on Saturday, January 31, at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Those who cannot attend may view the services at 11 AM, Saturday or anytime thereafter at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/livestreaming.
