David Winters Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, Inc. on Dec. 18, 2025.
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David K. Winters, 47, of Lebanon Township, on December 16, 2025. David was a devoted father, loving partner, and cherished son, brother, uncle, grandson, and family member. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will forever be treasured by all who knew him.

David's greatest joy in life was his children, Ryan Winters and Angela Winters. He was incredibly proud of all they accomplished over the past 20 years and watched with immense pride as they grew into the remarkable individuals they are today. His love for them knew no bounds, and he found deep fulfillment in being an active, loving presence in their lives. He especially cherished working on special and unique projects with Angela, enjoyed friendly, competitive Jeopardy! challenges with Ryan, and played hundreds of badminton games with Ryan, Angela, and Laura, moments filled with laughter, connection, and love.

David shared 14 loving years with his devoted partner, Laura Rosman. Their relationship was built on love, trust, and companionship, and together they created a home full of warmth, laughter, and support. Laura was his confidante and best friend, and their bond was a source of strength and happiness in his life.

A loving son, David shared a close bond with his mother, Beverly Winters, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. He was a devoted brother to his sister, Nicole Stevens, and shared a fond relationship with his brother-in-law, Jonathan Stevens. David took great pride in being an uncle to his nephews, Zachary and Jonathan, cherishing the time he spent with them, especially the many days fishing together at Lake Cushetunk and OBX, memories that will forever remain close to their hearts.

Family was always at the center of David's world. He deeply enjoyed spending time with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins, especially during holidays, vacations and celebrations. These gatherings brought him great joy, and he treasured the closeness and shared memories they created.

David had a true passion for woodworking and home remodeling, taking pride in his craftsmanship and creative projects. He also loved fishing, spending countless peaceful hours by the water. His beloved dogs - Toby, Zoe, and Dakota were constant companions and brought him endless comfort and joy.

David is survived by his mother, Beverly Winters; his children, Ryan Winters and Angela Winters; his longtime partner, Laura Rosman; his sister, Nicole Stevens (Jonathan); his nephews, Zachary and Jonathan; his grandmother, Catherine "Nan" Wilson; and numerous aunts, uncles, first and second cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Winters; his grandparents, Charlie and Bernice Winters; and his grandfather, William Wilson.

David's kindness, dedication to family, and love for life will be remembered always. His spirit lives on through the many lives he touched and the love he so freely gave.

May David rest in peace, forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.

Services will be privately held by the immediate family.
