David G. Yano

David G. Yano, 54, passed into his eternal life on January 19th after a short illness.Although born with physical disabilities, he had a fierce determination to live life to the fullest!He was an Exulted Ruler in the Hamilton Elks and an active supporter of the MDA marathons held in Trenton. He retired from the NJ State Police as a civilian Employee.David was a cantor at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Byzantine Catholic Church for many years. He supported the Lawrence High School Wrestling team and was so happy to be reunited with high school classmates as the planned their recent reunion.Son of the late George and Elizabeth Graziano Yano, he is survived by his uncle and aunts, John and Mary Ann Yanno, and Matilda Yanno along with many cousins and friends.Service will begin on Tuesday, February 2, at 10:30AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton. The Rev. Gregory Noga will officiate Patastas at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Assumption Cemetery.
