Dawn R. Becker

Dawn R. Becker, age 87, of Rib Lake, WI, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI. Born on August 30, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Stender) Becker, Dawn grew up in the city and graduated from Rufus King High School. She was married to Roger on June 8, 1957.
Dawn remained in the greater Milwaukee area until 1983, when she moved to Rib Lake. In Rib Lake, Dawn owned and operated Becker's Pub until the early 1990s, creating a welcoming place where friends and neighbors could gather. Her commitment to her community extended far beyond her business. Dawn was a proud member of the Rib Lake First Responders and made history as the very first recipient of the Wisconsin First Responder of the Year Award, an honor that reflected her dedication and service to others. Above all, Dawn cherished time spent with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Mitze) Becker, Karl (Janice) Becker, and David (Paula) Becker; and her sister-in-law, Susan Becker. She is further survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Elizabeth; her husband, Roger; her son, Glen; her brother, Richard; her sister, Gail; her sister-in-law, Betty; and her brother-in-law, Glenn.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
