Obituary
Dawn Marie Burrows, 53, of Temperanceville, VA, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. Born September 8, 1969, in Anne Arundel, MD, she was the daughter of Larry and Patricia Burrows.
Dawn was born and raised in Maryland, but was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She was funny and could make just about the saddest person laugh, even on their worst days. With rock music blaring in the kitchen, Dawn would cook and bake, especially for her grandbabies and daughter. That was Dawn's strength – even when times were tough and all of the light had gone out of the room, Dawn persevered because of her love for her daughter and grandchildren. She fought a good and brave fight and kept going even when others would have given up. She wanted to live for them. Dawn's daughter, Rachel, is so proud of her mom. She was a wonderful grandmother by all accounts, and her memory will surely live on and her legacy is already written in the faces of the four grandkids.
She leaves to honor her memory, her daughter, Rachel Ann Lipford; sisters, Samantha Critchlow and Sabrina Kay Rebstock; grandchildren, Aiden, Elissa, Edward, and Elana; and several close friends and extended family.
There will be no public service, per Dawn's wishes.
