Dawn D. Gallimore age 70 of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Thursday October 23, 2025, in Washington Hospital. She was born on September 10, 1955, in Washington, the daughter of the late Nancy J. Colbert and was raised for a portion of her life by her uncle and aunt, James and Gloria Lindsey. Dawn lived most of her life in Canonsburg where she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. A graduate of Canon-McMillan High School class of 1974, she then earned her teaching degree from Carlow College. Prior to her retirement Dawn was an instructor of Computer Technology at the Community College of Allegheny County at the North Side Campus. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Stone, Storm, Story Taylor, Christian Taylor and D’Marion Stanley. Also left behind to cherish her memory is her son Christopher D. Taylor (McKenzie Reeher) of Canonsburg, her sisters Annette (Dennis) Cole of Canonsburg, Anita Lovell (Howard) of Washington and Holly (Bobby) Smith of Canonsburg, her brother James (Cindy) Lindsey of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is her sister Sandy Bates.
