Dawn Heim

Dawn Marie (Helms) Heim, 70, of Orwigsburg, passed away on May 8th, 2024, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg.
She was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, to the late Paul and Jeanne (Mervine) Helms.
After graduating from Twin Valley High School in Morgantown, Dawn worked at CNA in Reading until she started a family. Once her children were in school, she worked at Boscov's as an inventory control specialist for over 30 years. Dawn was a passionate fan of bands from the 60s and 70s, and later developed a great fondness for Michael Bublé. She adored cats and cherished spending her free time with friends and family.
Dawn is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Heim, her son, Stephen Davies, and her sister, Diane (Helms) Lippold.
She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Davies) Feger, her grandchildren, Tyler and Dillon Feger, her niece, Erica (Lippold) Mitchell, and numerous cousins. Throughout her health journey, she received tremendous support from her cousins Michele L. Allen and Doreen Rimby.
The family will announce information about a Celebration of life to pay tribute to Dawn at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Pottsville.
