Dawn Kropf Obituary
Born November 2, 1937, in Wilson Borough, PA, she was the daughter of the late A. Nelson and Kathryn (Metler) Martin.
Her husband of 42 years, John B. Kropf, passed away May 13, 2014.
Dawn graduated from Wilson High School, Class of 1955.
She and her husband owned a State Farm Agency for over twenty years.
Dawn was a was a longtime member of Easton Musical Arts Chorus. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and was an avid reader.
She and her late husband, John, volunteered with Meals on Wheels.
She was a member of the former Memorial United Church of Christ and a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Tatamy, where she was in the choir at both churches.
Surviving are five children, Kimberly A. Badillo and her husband Frank, of Palmer Township, John B. Kropf, Jr. and his wife Pattie, of Macungie, David N. Lambert and his wife Aleta, of Pittstown, NJ, Sharon A. Kropf, of Richmond, VA, and Brian W. Kropf and his wife Linda, of Bethlehem Township; ten grandchildren, Anthony, Katie and Ilana Badillo, Sean, Brendan, Nathan and Melissa Kropf, Jennifer and Amanda Lambert, and Tim Farrell; eight great-grandchildren, Novell, Luna and Dakota Badillo, Isabelle Farrell, Eliana and Amalia Wright, Ethan and Shira Dawn Badillo; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ella and Parker. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Ronald N. Martin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm Sunday, February 1st, in New Creation United Church of Christ, 3730 Nicholas Street, Palmer Township. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.

Dawn was one of my favorite residents while i was a PCA/med tech at CM. She always recognized me as soon as we met in pathways when she came from skilled. I used to sneak her pizza when i ordered some and it would make her so happy. I also gifted her a little black beanie with crosses because she complemented me while wearing it. She would wear it from time to time. My condolences

So very sorry to hear of Dawn's passing. Dawn's and I became friends when we both were active in Memorial Church. Such a wonderful, caring friend and someone who cared about her family. Sorry to have lost touch with her. Rest in heavenly peace Dawn.

I met Dawn many years ago when we both worked at Warren Hospital. We became very good friends for many years. We shared a lot together. I met John when they first started dating. I moved away & we drifted apart. I have thought of her numerous times over the years. She was a great friend to me!! My thoughts & prayers are with you.
