Dawn Regli, 73, of Lakeville, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Early Life and Education
Born on March 16, 1952, in St. Paul and raised in Roseville, Dawn was an alumna of the University of Minnesota. She went on to share 48 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Steve.
Passions and Pursuits
Dawn had a boundless curiosity and a heart for creativity. She delighted in experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, knitting warm scarves and blankets for friends and family, cultivating her garden-where every bloom told a story-escaping to the family cabin for quiet reflection, and traveling the world with Steve by her side.
Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her siblings, children, and grandchildren-cheering at their games, crafting holiday memories, and sharing adventures big and small.
She twice overcame leukemia, facing each challenge with courage and determination. Her spirit and tenacity were summed up perfectly by her sisters, Judy and Joan:
"She was beautiful like a flower, inside and out, and that beauty shined outward everywhere she went She was a badass."
Family and Survivors
Dawn is survived by her husband, Steve Regli; her children, Jinnie (Chris) and Nick (Helen); grandchildren, Beckett, Cora, and Nash; and her siblings, Mike (Marie), Scott (Teri), Joan (Mitch), and Judy (Eugene). She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte and Sidney, and her brother, Patrick.
Celebration of Life
A small, private gathering to celebrate Dawn's life will be held with immediate family and close friends. Details will be shared directly with those invited.
