Dawn Marie Salgat

SALGAT, Dawn Marie – of Flint, age 69, died Monday, March 13, 2023 at Landing of Genesee Valley. Honoring Dawn's wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to Leukodystrophy Foundation.
Dawn was born January 18, 1954 in Flint, Michigan to the late Raymond and Roberta (Owens) Salgat. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Carman Ainsworth High School with the class of 1972. Prior to her retirement, Dawn worked for GM as a line worker at the Final Assembly Plant for several years. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and her fur babies. Dawn was a member of the UAW Local 599.
Surviving are: Sister, Kelli (Richard) Polehna; Niece, Angelique Salgat; Nephews, Michael (Erin) Salgat Jr., Shaun Hyde, Anthony (Heidi) Hyde; Special Cousin, Robin (Bill) Lawson; Best Friend, Terry Basham-Frazier. She was preceded in death by her Father, Raymond Salgat; Mother, Roberta "Bobbie" (Alex) Pastor; Siblings, Judy Salgat, Michael Salgat, Patrick Salgat, Raymie Salgat.
