DAYMON YOREL JACKSON

Daymon Yorel Jackson, Sr. entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the age of 50. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey,LA. “Action Jackson” and “DJ Action”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was a graduate of both L.W. Higgins High School in Marrero and Southern University at New Orleans. Daymon was the owner of 1993 Apparel Company and Action Printing Company, as well as a DJ and a consultant with The Colored Section.Beloved father of the late Daymon Yorel Jackson Jr., whom he shared with his ex-wife,Faith Walker. Devoted son Isaac Jackson and the late Barbara Ruth Sensley Jackson.Stepson of Cynthia C. Jackson. Brother of Jonathan Isaac Jackson. Stepbrother of Kessler Camese-Jones. Step-uncle of Megan Jones. Godfather of Lyric Alexander,Kalya Matthews, Trinity Taylor, and Justin Smith, also survived by a host of aunts,uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers,and members of Mount Hermon Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 3512 US-90,Avondale, LA on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darold A.
