Dean “Paw D” Lefort, 69, born and raised in Cut Off, passed away on Thursday, August 7th, 2025.
Dean is survived by his children, Nicole (Steve) Wanko, Jamie (Justin) Adams, Lauren (Kevin) Hand, and Chase Lefort; and his grandchildren, Trey Wanko, Beau Wanko, Brock Wanko, Nathan Adams, Leah Adams, Jolie Hand, Charlotte Hand, Oliver Hand, and Harper Lefort.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Camille and Lucille Lefort.
Dean was a trusted businessman for over 50 years in the South Lafourche area, and loved hunting, fishing, and his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, from 10:00 AM until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 12:00 PM, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
