Magnus “Mag” J. Arceneaux, Jr., 86, a native and resident of Larose entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Monday, October 6th, 2025.

Mr. Magnus is survived by his loving wife of 65 ½ years: Gloria Vinet Arceneaux; children: Magnus “Joey” Arceneaux, III (Robin), Bryan Arceneaux (Laurie), Angela Gereé Arceneaux Terrebonne (Chad), Corey Arceneaux (Jenny); 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister: Geraldine “Gerry” Falgout.

Mr. Arceneaux was preceded in death by his parents: Magnus J. Arceneaux Sr. and Gertrude Williams Arceneaux; and sister: Pauline Arceneaux.

Mr. Magnus was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Monday October 13th, 2025 from 9:00 am until service time. Mr. Magnus’ Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Team Gleason Foundation.
