Mr. Allen Dean Wimbley, 52, resident of Archdale, died September 20, 2025, at High Point Medical Center.

He was born January 22, 1973, in Guilford County and was a resident of this area all his life. Dean worked in carpentry within the construction industry and also specialized in tire preparation for the Go-Kart Association. Many will remember him as an all-around good spirit who was always the life of the party. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Wimbley and his stepfather, David Goins.

Surviving is his mother, Connie Goins-Holland of Archdale; daughter, Brittany Wimbley (Jacob) of Salisbury; son, Joshua Wimbley of Reidsville; sisters, Amber Wimbley (Mark) of Trinity and Kelly Hill (Lonnie) of Trinity; brothers, Philip Goins (Jennifer) of Sophia, David Hyder (Sissy) of Trinity and Jerry Wimbley of High Point; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved dog, Bandit.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his sister, Amber Wimbley, at 4039 Kennedy Ct. in Trinity. Memorials may be directed towards animal rescue efforts through ASPCA at www.ASPCA.org. Condolences may be made through www.cumbyfuneral.com.
