With heavy hearts and steadfast faith, we announce the passing of Deana Nicole Jacquez, who was called home to be with the Lord on 01•11•2026, at the age of 38. While we grieve her earthly absence, we rejoice in the promise that she is now fully restored, wrapped in God’s eternal peace.
Deana was born on 05•12•1987 in Las Cruces, NM, and lived a life rooted in love, faith, and purpose. She was known for her kindness, generosity, resilience, joy, her servants’ heart and most importantly her love for Jesus.
A devoted daughter, sister, aunt and employee, Deana found great joy in movies, the races, the Dallas cowboys, music and her career at Peter pipers for 28 years. Her life reflected Christ through her words, actions, and unwavering trust in God’s plan—even during seasons of hardship.
Deana is preceded in death by her brother Willie and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is lovingly survived by her father Guillermo (Willie), her mother Rita, her sister Bernice, her brother Kevin, her nephew Xavier and her niece Phoenix, who will carry her legacy forward through faith, love, and cherished memories.
Though our hearts ache, we hold tightly to the promise found in Scripture: “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8). We take comfort knowing Deana has heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
The rosary will be held on 02•02•2026 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary with the funeral mass to follow at 10:30 am. Pall bearers will be Kevin Jacquez, Jason Silva, Daniel Madrid and Edgar Rodriguez.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that prayers be said in honor of Deana and her family.
Until we meet again, may her memory remind us to love deeply, live faithfully, and trust God completely.
