Deane Wesley Malcolm, age 86, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at his home in Blairsville, GA. Deane was born April 6, 1939, in Springfield, MA to Wesley and June Day Malcolm. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Deane was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Malcolm; mother, June Day Malcolm; brother, Ron Malcolm; and sister, Joyce Malcolm.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara DeMark; daughters, Leslie (Chet) Young and Meegan (Stan) Hammond; grandchildren, Briana (Kyle) Pierce, Rachel Kolbeck, Brian (Madison) Koch, and Amelia Lively; great-grandchildren, Anslee Pierce, Layne Pierce, and Waylon Pierce.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Deane's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
