Deanna Lynn Bruner, a beloved resident of London, Kentucky, was born on August 11, 1969, in Laurel County. She was the cherished daughter of the late Emanuel Hayre and Jura Dean Benge. Deanna was united in marriage to Tim Bruner, who survives her in London, Kentucky. She is also survived by her daughter, Shelby Bruner of London, and her siblings, Sue Slominsky of Louisville, Sharon Carter of London, Dale Hayre of Colorado, and Eugene Hayre of Idaho. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Don Hayre.

Deanna was a devoted member of the First Christian Church in London, where she found solace and community. Her life was a testament to her faith and love for her family and friends.

Deanna Lynn Bruner departed this life on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the age of 56 years and 24 days.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday at the First Christian Church in London, with Jonathon Carmack and Wendell Carmack officiating. Burial will follow in the Humfleet-Bruner Cemetery in London. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 am on Tuesday until the funeral hour at the church. Pallbearers will include Jon Adams, Wes Ison, Jeff Bruner, Paul Bruner, Doug Root, and Red Root.
