Survived by her Siblings Roger (Jaci) Thornburg, Tim (Tracie) O'Brien, Jessica O'Brien, her Life Partner Kathy Irrer, stepchildren Zachary DeMunda and Madelyn DeMunda (Zonner).
Dee was born and raised in Iowa, surrounded by the love of her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her childhood was filled with joy and happiness. As she grew older, her journey took her away from Iowa to many memorable places where she met extraordinary people and formed lifelong friendships. Despite the distance, Dee always stayed connected with those she cared about. She was a light that will never be forgotten, taken from us far too soon. Dee's warmth, laughter, and fun-loving nature will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her and had the pleasure of being part of her world. Take comfort in knowing she is at peace, watching over us with a pool stick in one hand and an adult cocktail in the other. Harley, her dog of 13 + years, I am sure is sitting at her side waiting for the next walk around the block.
A celebration of life will be held in Iowa at a later date. In lieu of Flowers or cards - Dee had a great love of Dogs.
