Debbie Jean (Powell) Dowd, age 57, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Born on February 27, 1968, in Bay City, Michigan, Debbie was the cherished daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Campbell) Powell Sr. Her life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joy, which she shared generously with everyone around her.

On June 17, 2003, Debbie married her beloved husband, Chris Dowd, together they celebrated 22 years of marriage, filled with laughter, support. Debbie's role as a mother was paramount in her life, and she embraced every moment of it with her loving children, Candice (Jerry) Kukla, Jason Federspiel, and Tyler St. Martin. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Lilliana and Axel Kukla, whom she adored with all her heart, A loving sister, Dianna (Jerry) McQuarter. Her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, including her numerous friends. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, two brothers Robert "Bob" and Kenneth "Mack" Jr, and her dog Willie.

Debbie's commitment to her family was mirrored in her decision to be a proud stay-at-home mother. She took great pride in raising her family and ensuring that her home was a haven of warmth and affection. Her role as a mother and grandmother was one, she cherished above all, and her pride in her family was evident to all who knew her.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Debbie found solace and happiness in the beauty of nature. She had a great passion for camping and farm animals, which brought her immense pleasure and tranquility. Her love of sports was another facet of her vivacious personality, with football and baseball games being among her favorite pastimes. However, it was the simple pleasure of spending time with her family that Debbie valued the most. The bonds she forged with her loved ones were unbreakable and filled with countless precious memories.

Per Debbie's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home.
