Debbie Link Obituary
OLEAN - Debbie Ann Link, of Olean, passed away Tuesday (May 6, 2025) at Olean General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Debbie was born in Roulette, Pa., on Jan. 22, 1963, the daughter of the late Eugene and Pearl Kio Link. Debbie had a wonderful 20 years with her boyfriend, David Harrier, who survives.
She enjoyed spending time with David and her family. Debbie was a tropical fish hobbyist. She loved to spend time gardening and playing with her dogs.
Today, we remember Debbie, whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met.
Debbie is survived by her partner, David; her children, Melody Burnett, Anthony (Chelsea Gergel) Licht, Daniel Licht, Joey (Melissa Allen) Licht and Daniel Thompson; grandchildren, Makayla (Toby Nelson) Burnett, Carley Burnett, Lacey Licht, Anna Licht, Reina Licht, Tessa Licht, Octavia Licht, Oliver Licht and Aiden Licht; great-grandchildren, Penny Nelson, Liam Nelson and Michael Congdon Jr.; and brothers, Doug Link and Dennis Link.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Pearl; and a brother, David Link.
Family will receive family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean, with a memorial service starting at 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Chaplain Terry Bush will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA, 2944 Route 16N, Olean, NY 14760; or to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/
