Debora A. McKale

Debora A. (Snyder) McKale, 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She resided with her boyfriend of many years.
Born in Reading to the late Raymond E. Snyder and Carlissa M. (Snyder) Snyder, Debora graduated from Oley Valley High School. She later graduated from the Reading Area Community College with a degree in Applied Health Sciences, specializing in phlebotomy.
For Debora, family was the heart of her universe. She treasured long, lazy days on the beach, immersing herself in the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the sun. She loved the serenity of the ocean and found peace in its presence. At home, her loyal dog Luna brought boundless joy to her life, a constant companion who filled her days with love. Debora's vibrant energy lit up every room, and in her younger days, she was a queen of the dance floor. Her favorite moments were spent surrounded by family-laughing, playing table-top games, and floating in the pool with her grandchild, nieces, and nephews. She was a gentle force of love, light, and laughter, sharing her warmth with everyone she knew.
Left to treasure her memory are her sons, Ryan Schlappich, Devon McKale, and Austin McKale (girlfriend Alivia Cobb); her grandson, Orion Schlappich; and her sisters, Laurie A. Wentzel wife of Rick Wentzel and Tammy J. Youse wife of Joseph Youse.
Funeral Services for Debora will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560, with committal to follow at Spies Zion Cemetery of Alsace Township.
