**Obituary for Deborah Ann Barnes**

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Barnes, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on December 19, 2025, in La Porte, Texas. Born on November 8, 1961, Debbie was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her, known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty.

A graduate of St. Charles West High School in St. Charles, Missouri, class of 1980, Debbie embraced life's adventures with an open heart and an infectious spirit. She dedicated nearly 35 years to her career at Aramco Services, rising from a Benefits Clerk to a respected Human Resource Information Systems Analyst. Her colleagues and loved ones remember her as the epitome of an HR professional-always putting the needs of others before her own and fostering an environment of care and compassion.

Debbie's joyful spirit was evident in her passions. She found immense joy in playing Bingo and spending days at the casino, where her laughter and enthusiasm were as vibrant as the lights around her. Family gatherings filled with board games, cards, and crafts were her treasured moments, bringing everyone together in love and camaraderie. Debbie was not just a participant; she was the heart of those gatherings, encouraging others to embrace the fun and create lasting memories.

She leaves behind her beloved sister Susan Barnes, brother Jeffrey Barnes and his wife Robette, nieces and nephews Hannah Barnes Dobbs and her husband Hunter Dobbs, Tra'Von Prejean, Infiniti Prejean, and Nathan "Sweet Cheeks" White along with her best friend Lisa Highfill and cherished goddaughters Hailey Kintz, Harper Kintz, Cassie Hanlon, and Jill Belgen. Debbie's love extended to countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom she embraced wholeheartedly.

As we gather to honor her memory, please join us at the Deer Park Fire Department Recreational Center on Saturday, January 17th, at 4 p.m. Debbie's wish was for everyone to wear purple, as she wanted the day filled with games, laughter, and the warmest of memories. Together, let us celebrate her life in the happiest of ways, reflecting the love and joy she gave to us all.

Deborah Ann Barnes was the embodiment of kindness and generosity, teaching us the value of caring for others and cherishing every moment. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing her.
