Boyd ~ Deborah Lynn Berman, 64, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in St. Augustine, FL.
Funeral service is will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Boyd, with burial at Rosston Cemetery in Rosston, TX. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the church.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.
Debbie was born March 21, 1958 to Jimmy Frank and Mary Ellen (Townsend) Raney in Amarillo, TX. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Patrick O. Berman on December 23, 1977 in Rosston, Texas. Debbie was a petty officer in the U.S. Navy, after leaving the military she worked for the FAA in Human Resources. After the passing of her beloved husband Debbie moved to Florida to be close to her sister and in hopes of nice warm weather, she quickly found a church family at Crescent Beach Baptist Church in St. Augustine, FL. Prior to her move she was a member at First Baptist Church of Boyd. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Patrick O. Berman; and her son, Eric Berman.
Those left behind to cherish her memory is her son, James Ryan Berman and wife Elaine of Paradise; her father Jimmy Frank Raney I of Pflugerville; her sisters, Diane Raney of Florida and Julie Marshall and husband Donald of Pflugerville; her brother, Jimmy Raney II of St. Jo; numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family and a host of friends.
