Deborah Blackburn Obituary
Deborah Lynn Blackburn, 75, of Akron, passed away at her home on February 1, 2025. She was born in Barberton on April 28, 1949 to the late William C. Zinn Jr. and Ruth L. {Hollingshead} Zinn.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert L. Blackburn on June 14, 2001; sister Sherria Croft; brother Ernie Zinn.
Deborah is survived by her loving daughter, Cora L. Taylor; granddaughter, Rosalie A. Strain; great-granddaughter Brooklyn Beck.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. A committal will follow the service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Deborah will be laid to rest with Robert.
